1. How many spaces are there in each course
The intensive weekend course is only for 20 candidates and the detailed course allows only 20 overseas doctors in Birmingham and 10 in Manchester. This is the decision of the management at Salford Hospital NHS trust (Hope Hospital)

2. What if all spaces are filled?
You have the option of going on to the waiting list for the next course or you can have all your amount refunded. We therefore advice you to apply early if you wish to take our courses

3. Can I start in the middle of one course? 
You can start in the middle of one course if there are places available. This is applicable for only the detailed course.

4. Can you take me if there are no places in the course? 
We do not entertain additional candidates once a course is full. Therefore please book in advance for a confirmed place.

5. Can I speak to any one regarding admission queries? 
If you have any queries regarding the course or admission to the course you can either send an e-mail to birminghamplabcourse@yahoo.co.uk or leave a message at the answer-phone service (07958474522). For a prompt response we would prefer you send your questions by e-mail.

6. Can I book before for a later course but pay now?
Yes you can book now for a later course. If there is any increase in the course fee, you will not have to pay any more money. 

7. If I am a refugee doctor, can I attend the intensive weekend course?
At present this is discussed on an individual basis and therefore you have to raise this question with us for us to be able to answer.

8. Is accommodation provided?
We can book accommodation in Birmingham for the Saturdays if you are going to attend the intensive 2 weekend course but you have to give us atleast 4 weeks notice and send the amounts. For Manchester course we can refer you to places which give paying guest accommodation. We can also arrange long term accommodation in Birmingham for the detailed course

9. Can I attend only the mock examination?

You can attend only the mock examination. Please make sure that you are filling the correct application form

10. Can I get only a sponsorship letter?
We give sponsorship letter only if you are taking our course. If you are not taking our course, we do not give a sponsorship letter. Please note that there is an additional non-refundable administration charge if you need a sponsorship letter for your visa purposes.

11. What is about the detailed course?

We are presently planning the future detailed courses as we have had extremely good results with the intensive weekend courses. We think that the intensive weekend courses are as good as the detailed courses.

12. Can you provide accommodation during the days the courses are held in Birmingham ? what will be the cost of accommodation in around your college ? 
We can arrange accommodation around the hospital. The cost will be £50 for the 2 Saturdays if you are taking the weekend course. For long term accommodation the charges are usually around £50 per week for student accomodation

13. Who are the faculty members of the course ? 
All of them are consultants or Specialist Registrars who are working in NHS at present and have taken the PLAB examination. Most of them have written chapters for PLAB 2 books as well

14. Can you provide clinical attachment?
At present we can only give you addresses where you can apply but do not arrange it ourselves.
